Dating the Guy Next Door by Amanda Ashby: Matt is tired of dating women who don’t want to have children at some point in their lives, but he also didn’t want to become the target of every single woman in Seattle who was looking to get married and have kids. Matt is ruthlessly organized and decides to take a structured approach to finding a potential wife and mother.
Kate is a talented artist whose biggest concern is getting a commission so she can pay for the repairs on her gallery. She’s still feeling the pain from her divorce, so she has no plans to date for quite some time. She’s not sure she can even find a man who can accept her desire not to have children.
“No problem,” he replied, not attempting to move away. “After all, that’s what neighbors are for. Now, where were we?”
“You were going to explain why you were hiding in my window,” Kate croaked as she felt a surge of electricity, possibly enough to power a small town for a week, course through her body.
Kate and Matt have a very interesting first meeting, to say the least. But Matt is in the right place at the right time, so at least they can do a favor for each other in the spirit of being new neighbors. Matt is intrigued by his spirited neighbor and can’t stop thinking about her. He truly is a very kind, considering, and generous man; he’s willing to take their relationship at the pace Kate needs.
“Hmmm. That’s unfortunate. Especially since this non-dating thing is working so well for us. I’d hate to ruin what we have just to keep your new boss happy.” Matt frowned, still standing so close that he could probably hear her heart pounding away in her chest. “Then again, if you really begged me…”
Before long, Matt and Kate find themselves head over heels. They have great chemistry and Matt is always finding ways to come up with solutions to potential problems. But their differing views on children may not be a problem that Matt can solve.
Dating the Guy Next Door is a sweet and fun opposites attract romance. Amanda Ashby created a very appealing hero in Matt. Ms. Ashby provided great secondary characters, especially with Keith and his many antics. Fans of Cate Cameron and Cindy Kirk will enjoy Dating the Guy Next Door.

MAYBE, BABY…
Kate Mitchell is finished with love. After a recent relationship disaster, she’s had it. Sure, she’s noticed her smoking hot new neighbor, Matt Hunter, moving into the converted warehouse next door. But she resolves to keep her fantasies just that.
But fantasy becomes reality when he shows up in her gallery. Matt is a logical, meticulous type while Kate’s more of a fly-by-night free spirit. And she won’t allow herself to be led into another relationship—especially not with someone who wants to start a family. She can’t do that.
Still, even Kate can’t deny Matt’s charm, and soon realizes she’s falling for him hard. If she tells him she won’t have a baby, she’ll break his heart. But if she doesn’t, she might break her own…
