Dishonestly Yours by Krista Ritchie, Becca Ritchie: For as long as Hailey Graves can remember her life has been one well crafted lie after another, well what more can you expect when the family business is to hustle people. The only good thing that Hailey can say her parents have truly given her is her best friend Phoebe Tinrock and well that was kind of by default, you see the Tinrocks and the Graves have been working together from the time the girls have been babies, creating one grand scheme after another.
However when their parents latest con goes a bit to south, Hailey and Phoebe decide that it is time to get out of the family business and fast, which is how they decide to head to a small town in Connecticut, with the hopes of starting a new peaceful and drama free life… well that could have been possible if only Phoebe’s annoyingly handsome brother Rocky didn’t insist on coming along with them… while Rocky might be everything that Hailey has ever wanted, there is no denying that honest living definitely does not live in Rockys DNA. With their messy past and the constant worry that Rocky will lure them back into their dishonest ways can Hailey finally get the normal life that she has always wanted?
I wasn’t to sure what to expect going into the book, but I have to say that I really enjoyed reading Dishonestly Yours. This book was the perfect start to what promises to be an incredible series. There was drama, mystery, romance and so much more packed into this friends to lovers novel. One of the things that I loved about this book was the strong found family theme, if anything this book highlights the fact that sometimes it is the people that we choose to surround ourselves with form the strongest bonds.
I loved all three main characters in this book and I say three because even though this was technically Hailey and Rocky’s story, it would be a miss not to give Phoebe the recognition that she deserves along with them. Now for our leading lady, Hailey, well I really liked her character and the strength that she showed through out this book. It takes a lot to want to change your life and work hard and honestly for your living and I really enjoyed getting to see this side of her. In saying this my heart did break for her and all the things that she had to do in order to protect her family while working as a con, her love and devoting to her family was more than evident throughout this book but I have to say that I loved getting to see her doing something for herself. As for our hero, well Rocky was a hot broody mess and I loved him to bits. While I had assumed he followed the girls for one reason, we soon learn the real reason that he tagged along and I have to say I was a bit shocked, nevertheless I love the drama so this worked out well in my books. As complicated and confusing as Rocky came across for a large portion of this book, it is impossible to ignore his protective side. He cares for Hailey and his family fiercely and I loved that he genuinely wanted the best for Hailey. I have to say I really enjoyed getting to see him re-evaluate his life and the way he chose to live.
As much as I love the relationship between Rocky and Hailey, I loved the relationship between Hailey and Phoebe all the more. These two were true best friends, the ride or die kind of friend every girl needs. I loved seeing their bond grow as they get tested living the honest life. These two are a true testament that soulmates come in all kinds of forms and I absolutely loved their supportive but crazy bond. These two truly relied on each other in the darkest of moments but also shared the most happy ones together, their connection and commitment to each other was beautiful and I just loved the fact that they supported each other when they most needed it.
While the small town that the girls chose might seem unassuming and totally mundane, there is so much more going on and as we get to know more of the townsfolk the more we begin to uncover of the true ongoing of this small Connecticut town. Krista and Becca have done an incredible job in creating the start of what I can already tell is going to be an incredible series. I absolutely can not wait to get my hands on the next book in the Webs We Weave series! Until then I highly recommend reading Dishonesty Yours this book is sure to draw you in just as much as it did to me!

Starting fresh is the only way Phoebe can escape a life of crime, but her best friend’s older brother complicates honest dreams in this gripping new series from the authors of the Addicted series.
Phoebe Graves grew up in a family where deception and seduction are as commonplace as breathing. The Graves and her best friend Hailey’s family have been on the run their whole lives, but after a high-stakes con job goes south, Phoebe and Hailey decide to run away and start over. The small Connecticut town they settle in seems too good to be true.
The biggest flaw in their plan is Hailey’s frustratingly handsome brother, Rocky, who insists on coming with them. Living honestly isn’t in his DNA, and his past with Phoebe is downright messy. He’s everything she wants, but nothing she can have.
Phoebe worries that Rocky will tempt them back into their old ways, where lying is second nature. She doesn’t want Rocky to mess up the new life she’s begun for herself. The longer she stays in town, the more she realizes what it means to have a reputation—and what a normal life with the man she loves could look like.
