Engaged to London’s Widest Billionaire is Kali Anthony latest instalment in her Behind the Palace Doors trilogy and her exciting April 2023 new release.

Sara has been saved a lifetime of misery when her fiancée, the crown prince dies. Thinking that was the end of it and she finally could have a life of her own; her parents insist on arranging another disastrous marriage for her. Running to the only person she can think of, the man with the world’s worst reputation, Sara begs Lance to cause a scandal to absolutely ruin her.

The Duke the media love to tear strips off is absolutely taken by the bright little light Sara brings to his world. Possibly acting on his attraction to her Lance suggests a fake engagement. Jumping in boots and all Sara accepts the fake engagement and with Lance’s help escapes her country and start her fake new life.

Engaged to London’s Wildest Billionaire is a modern day fairy tale with a historic romance feel. I loved it. With humour, passion and wonderfully interesting adventures Kali Anthony whips up an exciting and fast paced romance between two people with beautiful hearts. A well matched pair with interesting pasts and intriguing families I really enjoyed this page turner. I loved there was just enough intrigue about Lance’s and Sara’s best friends (from book 2) that it didn’t spoil the plot if you haven’t read book one.

I am very much looking forward to the third instalment which I hope is about Lance’s sister, Victoria.

Book Info:

Publication: April 2023 | Harlequin Presents | Behind the Palace Doors #2

Lance Astill’s debauched reputation is the stuff of tabloid legend. He’s dedicated to rebelling against his strict aristocratic upbringing and has never once shied away from trouble. Until he meets Sara Conrad…

Entertaining thoughts of his attraction to sheltered Sara would be far too reckless. Even for him. Then Sara makes him an impassioned plea to help her escape an arranged wedding, just like the one Lance failed to save his sister from. The playboy’s outlandish solution? Their own headline-making engagement!
