First Loves by Jean Stones is a story about three completely different women who meet at a private resort spa while they are at the most difficult times in their lives. As they become friends they make the odd decision about looking up their first love, the men they believe could’ve made a difference in their lives if they had chosen a different path.

FLMeg is blessed with being a very successful lawyer. But she is considered an Ice Queen by the media and her previous lovers. By the media because she defends and wins even the most obvious and famous murder suspects, and by her lovers because she doesn’t ever let go and love them as they fall in love with her. She knows that she doesn’t deserve love, that’s what was drummed into her since she was a child, so when she fell in love with a married man, she knew that she had to end it before he ended up hating her.

Zoe is a former famous movie star. But she has been hiding from everyone since she had a stroke after giving birth and being left paralyzed in half of her body. That may have been over a dozen years before and she may be able to walk and move again, but she is still hiding from everyone. But after her husband’s suicide she has to come out of hiding to support her son, her closest and most loyal friend, and herself, for her husband left her deeply in debt and about to loose everything, even the house they live in.

Alissa is used to being the center of society, but now her daughter is starting to replace her in the most prominent society pages and her husband is still cheating on her. Not only that, her lover has decided to end things with her too. After trying to fix things with her husband only to find him in a compromising situation with another man she runs to the spa to try and see how solve her main problem. Not being the center of attention in society anymore.

At first Alissa may see Zoe and Meg as the perfect opportunity to go back into the spotlight. But the closer they get the more they realize how much they needed a friend. As each will see the difference their life choices could’ve been, they will also find their way to love, whether their first love or the love they were meant to have.

A fun and interesting mix of three stories in one, First Loves will keep you entertained form beginning to end.
