Flirting with the Socialite Doc by Melanie Milburne is a very different medical romance because of the characters and the writing. A romance between a cop and doctor.? How am I not supposed to like that and that too when the very hot hero is mistaken for a stripper at the first meeting..!!

Isabella is a very relatable heroine and easy to fall in love with her because of the same. She had her set of emotional baggage due to her broken engagement and it was heartwarming to see her get her life together after the emotional setback she suffered. Zach is a cop and that alone gives me a reason to love him. I loved reading from his POV because I got to see his how much Isabella rattled him. The romance starts out as a short term fling with no promises for tomorrow but soon emotions get deeply involved from both sides. It’s upto Zack and Isabella to decide if they are willing to let their fling develop into something more meaningful.

Overall, Flirting with the Socialite Doc by Melanie Milburne is a well written, emotional and fun medical romance. It’s strength lies in its characters and how beautifully Melanie Milburne manages to make a simple plot-line into a worthwhile read.
