He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not by Aimee Brown After having her entire life in Seattle turned upside down when long time boyfriend dumps and goes on to sell their shared apartment, Hollyn has no choice but to head back home and stay with her brother while she tries to figure out how to get her life back on track. The only problem with going back home is that there are a few hard hitting home truths that Hollyn has to face, starting with her brothers best friend Dax… clearly Hollyn should have paid better attention to Dax in the past because the man he has now grown into is HOT! And everything that Hollyn could ever ask for… with sparks flying as these two work together on a floral competition can Hollyn win over the boy that always loved her?

Loved! This book was just amazing, I loved every single moment of this cute second chance, brothers best friend romance! Aimee has done a brilliant job in crafting this book and drawing us into Hollyn and Dax’s love story, more than anything I liked that she has set up the base work for two more characters that I just can not wait to follow.

I really wanted to like Hollyn more than I did in this book, but I couldn’t help but feel that our leading lady kind go just fumbled her way through this book. Sure there was some character growth as the story progressed but for me personally I just felt that she was lacking a bit. I really do wish that she had taken charge of her life sooner and reconnected with her family earlier. Nevertheless I did enjoy getting to see Hollyn and River sibling bond.

The real star of this book was easily Dax. This guy was book boyfriend goals. I loved that he had this old crush on Hollyn from childhood and those feelings really came rushing back when she came to live with him and River. More than this I just loved that Dax wanted to be able to buy the the shop that his father used to own and start up his own florist empire. Really there was nothing that I did not like about Dax, he was the perfect softer more romantic hero that will melt your heart.

“And, word by word, I’d fall more in love with the girl.”

The romance in this book was a fade too black but this worked out okay for this book, because the emotional bond and connection took the front seat in this romcom. I absolutely loved the banter and sassy one liners that constantly zinged between Dax and Hollyn. These two where just hilarious to follow as they worked and lived together. Add in the extra giggles provided from all the side characters and this book had me giggling more often than not. I can not wait to get my hands on River and Mercy’s books respectively!

If you are looking for a cute funny light read that has great build up with little to no drama then He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not is definitely the book for you!
