Her Sexy Vegas Cowboy by Ali Olson: A weekend in Vegas for a bachelorette party sounds like a great way to get over a heartache and to break out of your shell, right?

Not for Jessica Gainey though, she would be much happier back home where she could be more introverted. Her best friend was getting married though and she wouldn’t miss that for the world. So she grudgingly goes to Vegas in an effort to make her friend happy and maybe, just maybe have a weekend outside her “normal” self.

Aaron Weathers loved the weekend in Vegas he had once a year with his best friend and his ranch competing in the rodeo. He enjoyed his casual hookup partner that he met there and really the all around good time, lately though he had started to realize that something was missing. He needed something deeper and maybe a different type of connection.

When Aaron and Jessica saw each other through a crowded airport it was bound to be different. What neither one realized was how different it was going to be.

Ms. Olson gives her readers and interesting vacation novel with this read, as well as a twist on the one-night stand personas. While the characters are likable and she does a good job in their descriptions and their backgrounds, the plot is just a bit familiar and not catching enough. That said she makes Aaron and Jessica as well as their best friends likeable and relatable so much so that you want to keep reading just for them.
