His Outback Cowgirl (The Wildflower Ranch #4) by Alissa Callen: Bridie Willis has lost her father but gained a whole new family when she discovers her mother had been married before and had sons. So they fly half way around the world and head to the small town of Marietta. Once there she realizes she’s going to need a trip into the mountains to release her grief. Who better to take her there than Ethan Morgan who has recently discovered his biological father in Marietta.
When this cowboy, sensible and steady, meets this cowgirl, unpredictable and jumpy, who knows what is going to happen. After two days alone in the mountains though, the entire world might just shift.
Ms. Callen has brought the reader back to Marietta is this Big Sky Maverick series book, which can be read as a stand alone though you will get more out of it if you’ve read the others. This is a quick novella with more of Ethan’s story and makes you want to know what’s coming with Henry.
His Outback Cowgirl by Alissa Callen is a story about living life when grief can make you feel like living won’t happen for you ever again. This is a short read, but a good cleansing one. Take a moment, grab some tissues and curl up to clear your soul.
