His Princess of Convenience by Rebecca Winters: Sometimes you just want a man in your life to fill a void and sometimes a man walks into your life who is the right man to fill that void whether you or he know it at the time.
Christina Rose started out with a crush on her best friend’s brother, but after years of being told she wasn’t good enough and that she was too frumpy and all she knew she could never have a man like him. That didn’t mean she couldn’t still grow closer and closer to her best friend though so she did. Then one night and one phone call to help her out changed her life forever.
Prince Antonio de L’Accardi of Halencia liked his little sisters best friend. She was sweet and loyal and just a really wonderful young woman, but that was about it. Then she called to tell him his sister might be in trouble and at that point he hatched a plan, like it or not she would get married to him, or at least engaged. Then when the trouble was past everything would go back to normal, right?
Well there was a problem, it didn’t seem like they were going to be able to walk away. Married and now on a honeymoon in the middle of nowhere with no communication with anyone what could possibly go wrong? Or right?
Ms. Winters has taken us back to the to the Vineyards of Calanetti in this novel. Here we are finally getting to see the wedding take place that has been building in the other novels in this series though it can be read as a standalone. This novel isn’t really about the wedding so much as a growing love story of two friends. Ms. Winters keeps things very PG and focuses more on the growing relationship than anything else, which allows the characters to be fully developed.
If you are interested in reading about a real deal romance, definitely pick up His Princess of Convenience by Rebecca Winters.
