REVIEW: His Reluctant Cinderella by Jessica Gilmore

In His Reluctant Cinderella by Jessica Gilmore, London’s notorious vice-CEO of glamorous Rafferty’s Stores, Castor Rafferty meets gorgeous single mom, Clara Castleton when he is trying to find out his missing sister, Polly who has taken off to a vacation with Clara’s professional help. Raff needs to find his sister but he keeps on getting distracted by Clara and the simmering attraction between them.

Clara is not ready to give in Raff’s demands and compromise her client’s location but he keeps on pursuing her. She isn’t looking for Prince Charming—only for a life where she’s in control. But there’s something about Raff that makes her want to open her heart…and to believe in a happy ending after all!

His Reluctant Cinderella firm is a well written fairy tale inspired romance which is perfect for the upcoming holiday season.

Both the characters had commitment issues and believed that they will never fit into each other’s world. Clara is a strong and a likable heroine who runs a concierge consultancy firm. She is an awesome single mom and shares a really beautiful relationship with her daughter. Her first priority is her daughter and therefore she is not looking for a second chance at love. Raff’s is a charismatic hero who values his independence very much. He finds himself falling for Clara  much against his will. The plot was very well written and the romance is both sweet and adorable from the start. The characters share a good chemistry and I love the fairy tale element to the story.

Overall, His Reluctant Cinderella is a well written romance with a fairy tale twist. If you like sweet and adorable romances then go for this one.
