His Texas Runaway Bride by Amy Vastine: Willow Sanderson has grown up in Dallas with a privileged life. Her parents expect her to marry someone who is wealthy and can provide a fabulous life for her. Willow has a nursing degree and has enjoyed her career so far. Her soon to be husband, Hudson, expects her to quit her job and be the perfect wife that he can show off as they attend events. Most women would love such an opportunity, but Willow doesn’t want to be that sort of wife. She knows she’d be suffocated by such a lifestyle. At the last minute, she escapes out a window with only her wedding dress and the clothes that were meant for her honeymoon.

Willow, Bryce and Camden bond quickly. Since Willow has been a pediatric nurse , she recognizes that something is not quite right with Camden and becomes indispensable. Will Bryce and Willow be able to stay boss and employee or will they bond on an even deeper level?

His Texas Runaway Bride is from Harlequin’s Heartwarming line. It certainly fits that category. All the main characters are so lovely and real at the same time. The author fleshes out the secondary characters very well, too. When the world gets to be too much, there is nothing I love more than a sweet romance with a HEA.
