His Unexpected Baby Bombshell by Soraya Lane: Sometimes people can be so in love with one another that they can’t see the forest for the trees. When that happens it can be a comedy of errors and missteps that hopefully don’t end poorly.
Rebecca Stewart made a choice, her child would come before anything else. Even if that meant not telling the child’s father that there was a child. The problem was though when her daughter’s father came back into their lives. All of a sudden life was turned upside down for this single mother.
Ben McFarlane had lived his dream. He had played professional polo with a very rich man half a world a way. However when he learned his grandfather didn’t have much time left he knew it was time to come home and to spend some time with a man who he loved and respected more than either of his parents.
When these two best friends meet up again will they be able to pick up where they left off? Or will time have changed them too much? Then when the secret of who the father of Rebecca’s daughter is comes out the whole world turns inside out.
Ms. Lane has given her readers a sweet love story that has some unexpected plot twists that will keep the reader both entertained and excited. She doesn’t spend a lot of time developing the past of the characters but she gives a fairly cursory overview of all of the players in the plot. While the plot is a little exotic and the characters aren’t completely relatable it is a good story that in the end makes you feel good and smile large. This book is made for a sunny day in a rocker on the deck with a large glass of sweet tea.

Will not read – if he was her friend, there is no reason I could buy to keep his baby a secret until now. Thanks for your review.

Thanks for the review, Valerie. It sounds interesting, but not one I’ll probably read.
