If Tomorrow Never Comes by Allison Ashley: Its the eve of her bone marrow transplant surgery and Elliot has decided to take what could be her last moment to fully embrace her life and live it up a bit, which is how she finds herself sitting next to a cute guy at the hotel bar. Jamie had it all planed out, a cute cooking class date, to bad he got stood up. So when he meets the cute girl at the bar, he decides to take a chance and ask her to join him on the date that he had planned. With instant chemistry the two just hit it of, creating one of the most magical nights either of them could have ever hoped for… Fast forward a year and Elliot is living her best life, cancer free and killing it with her graphic design business. Now that Elliot is back in Omaha, her biggest desire is to reach out to her donor, Carly and thank her for the second chance at life. However fate has a strange sense of humour when Elliot meets Carly and her boyfriend James… the very same James that Elliot shared that one magical night with… Now that Elliot has a second chance at life can she really pass up her chance at real love, even if that means breaking someone else’s heart in the process?

If Tomorrow Never Comes was actually a really cute read, I will be honest I had not expected much going into this book, purely because I am not a huge fan of having one of the main characters having a major illness, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the way this book shaped up. Ashley did a brilliant job in crafting this book and creating such relatable and loveable characters, it was so easy to root them on as they got a second chance at finding each other.

I loved both Jamie and Elliot, these two were just made for each other and I loved getting to see them find their way back to each other. Elliot was such a beautiful leading lady, she has had to face a lot in her life but she never once loses hope or feels woe me. I loved her strength and bravery and the fact that she truly loves making the most of her second chance at life. It was so beautiful getting to see her finding her way and really allowing herself to be happy and build the life that she has always wanted. Now for our hero, well Jamie just stole my heart. This guy was the sweetest and most caring guy that you could find. Right from that first night, I just knew that Jamie was going to steal a small piece of my heart and the more we got to see of him as the book progressed the more sure I was of this. I loved that while he always tried to do the right thing and take everyones feelings into account, he wasn’t afraid to go after what he really wanted.

Now I wasn’t to sure if I would be a fan of the love triangle element in this book but thankfully it wasn’t something that drawn out for to long and it was pretty clear that Jamies heart was firmly with Elliot. These two were so definitely soulmates and I loved getting to see them build their relationship from friends to lovers and having them work together to overcome their challenges. Truly this was such a beautiful second chance love story, that just felt very real and touching. Also I absolutely loved Tank, this book only got cuter because of this furry cutie!

All in all If Tomorrow Never Comes was a really cute second chance romance, this book is filled with heart and hope and definitely worth checking out for the feel good ending.
