In the Boss’s Bed by J. Margot Critch is filled with strong, developed characters, an engaging storyline, and an intense romance that begins, all because of a dare.

Maya Connor is all work and no play, so her best friend Abby convinces her to head to the nightclub. Once there, Abby realizes Maya needs to loosen up a bit and dares her to kiss one of the hottest men in the club. Turns out this will be a dare Maya will always remember.

Jamie Sellers is more than a little shocked when a beautiful female walks up to him and lays on a fierce kiss on him. He’s even more shocked that she walked away without a second look but the shock doesn’t stop there because he sees her again the next day. Turns out Maya is taking the same class which Jamie agreed to give a guest lecture to, leaving Jamie and Maya finding out how much of small world it truly is.

Maya is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Business Administration hoping to gain a career in hotel management. She’s ambitious and knows what she wants and has no problems going after it. But will she have to sacrifice her dreams for love when everyone finds out she’s sleeping with the boss?

Jamie works long hours and doesn’t have much of a personal life. He’s definitely earned the name of being the rich, playboy mogul, but it’s been quite a while since he’s indulged in that way. Realizing he’s in over his head, Jamie calls up Maya and offers her the job of being his assistant. It will help get her foot in the door in the hospitality circle and give Jamie the much-needed break he needs. Sounds perfect until Jamie and Maya can no longer separate business with pleasure.

There is plenty of drama to keep readers turning the page as well as seductive scenes to keep you wanting more. In the Boss’s Bed is highly recommended to those readers who love workplace romances.
