REVIEW: Innocent Maid for the Greek by Sharon Kendrick

Innocent Maid for the Greek by Sharon Kendrick is an exciting and fast paced exotic reunion story that I read in one sitting.

Love reunion stories so I may be biased but Theo knocking on his wife’s door seven years after she ran away after their wedding had me at page one! Mia knew Theo would ask for a divorce one day but didn’t expect to see him in the flesh and it hits hard, their attraction for each other hasn’t diminished. Theo’s not after a divorce, he asks her (not kindly of course) to come back home to see her ailing Grandfather before it’s too late. Thinking her Grandfather wants to reconcile, Mia agrees.

I loved the chemistry between Theo and Mia. Their love for each other was plain to see and I really enjoyed the emotional hoops the author put Theo and Mia through. Theo’s a tall, dark and handsome stubborn jerk but it’s clear under his gruff layers the Billionaire loves Mia. Mia is a spirited and brave heroine who leaves the family environment to make her own way in the world after stupidly listening to her Mother on the night of her wedding. Seven years is just the right amount of time for both parties to grow and mature. All shots fired are explained well and the pace is fast and energetic.

Innocent Maid for the Greek is a heart squeezing reunion romance and I liked the link back to previous stories by Sharon Kendrick even though it’s not part of a series. Recommended for anyone who loves this troupe.
