Innocent’s Wedding Day with the Italian is Michelle Smart’s witty and heartfelt September 2023 new release.
Brilliant commencement with Rebecca giving her talk dark and handsome billionaire fiancée a big no-thank-you at the alter. From there, the race is on, with Rebecca wanting to high tail out of the country and with Enzo trying to right the wrongs in Rebecca’s eyes. It was so well written, the big escape, the Vespa’s, the paparazzo and Enzo catching up to Rebecca.
Enzo basically has 24 hours. Telling why would be a spoiler but he has 24 hours and he uses it very wisely in Rebecca’s company and how they came to be where they are today is about to play out. The love Rebecca and Enzo have for each other is quite clear but Enzo has lost all of Rebecca’s trust so he has some big mending to do.
I really liked this story. Both were likeable characters and I really enjoyed how Michelle Smart redeemed Enzo. Rebecca was hilarious without meaning to be and her demands of Enzo had me chuckling away. Loved the plot and the escape the two made together from Enzo’s home. I loved the opening chapter, the ride taken to find their happy ever after, the tear inducing finale and the beautiful epilogue.
A lovely second chance story which really, really tugs on the heart strings.
