Just for Show by Julie Hamilton: When Luke and Audrey meet on the plane, they flirt the entire flight. Until Audrey literally runs away from him when he goes to ask her out. After posting what he thought would be a harmless tweet, it blows up since he’s actually a reality tv star. The executives at the network loved it and want him to continue trying to date Audrey after unexpectedly running into her again at the animal shelter.
Audrey needs ground rules if she’s going to accept the proposal. She definitely needs boundaries since she can’t forget the way the simplest touch feels from him. Since it’s only going to be a summer fling for the network, they try to protect their hearts. But that’s never how it works when you find someone who you actually trust and trusts you back.
Audrey went through a whirlwind of emotions while on her journey. Immediately, she deals with a toxic workplace and finally decides to quit to focus on her real passion. When Luke supports her ambitions in ways that she never had from a partner, she has the feeling that it’s too good to be true. She has to confront the way she perceives him and her goals to determine if he is worth the risk.
Luke was always the provider ever since his dad’s passing. He chose to focus on helping his family instead of what he wanted to pursue and now he has to decide his next step with the network. He wants to be near family, but the network is pulling him in other directions. Luke tries to weigh his options and decide how his life is going to play out in the future and what’s worth it: supporting the family or reaching his dreams.
Overall the book was so good! It kept the reader hoping for the first half and threw in the perfect amount of conflict to put a damper on their plans. With the tension built and the steaminess that flows off the pages, you can’t help but root for them to find each other in the end and try for more.

#TwitterBae forever…
They’ll fake a relationship for the social media exposure, but can they be more than a hashtag?
Here’s how things are going so far for me in Chicago:
1) Messed up my attempt at asking out the gorgeous woman next to me on the plane.
2) Couldn’t catch up to her at O’Hare.
3) I’m hoping she finds me on Twitter.
4) Maybe if she sees this, we can split another cheese plate sometime.
It doesn’t take long for Luke Murphy’s tweet to go viral. So it also doesn’t take long to reconnect with Audrey. Nailed it. But at what cost? His network has put his whole career as a TV home renovations carpenter on the line. A midair meet cute is exactly what they want.
After recovering from the shock, Audrey Whitaker can see the benefits of faking a relationship for social media exposure. She’ll get the publicity to launch her photography business—her lifelong dream—and she’ll get to spend time with a man who can, as his fans say, “really fill out a plaid shirt.”
Luke and Audrey agree to spend the summer together to get what they each need, then say goodbye. And to keep it professional, they’ll follow all the rules…except the “no kissing” one. And maybe the “no sex” one, too! But with so much on the line, they definitely can’t fall in love.

I’m looking forward to reading this book.
