King of Wrath by Ana Huang: For a man like Dante Russo, power and control are everything, both in his professional and personal lives. So when he finds himself being blackmailed by the Lau family he vows to do whatever it takes to being them down and if that mean agreeing to marrying Vivian Lau, then that is exactly what he will do. The only problem being Dante did not factor in actually falling for his fiancée… Vivian has always been the perfectly poised daugher, ready to help her family in anyway that she can and now is her chance to rocket her family into the top tier of society all she needs to do is marry the annoyingly rude and controlling Dante Russo. But what happens when she begins to carve his commanding touch, could Vivian actually be falling in love with her soon to be husband?

“Love wasn’t always about the big moments. more often, it was tucked in the small moments connecting the major ones”

Absolutely brilliant! I just ate this book up! If you enjoyed reading the Twisted Series then this book is going to be the perfect read for you! Dare I say it, King Of Wrath was even more addictively indulgent than the Twisted Series! There is just something about Huangs writing style that makes it so easy to get absorbed in her books and this is very much the case with Vivian and Dante as what started out as an arranged marriage turns into something very real.

I loved Vivian to bits, she was such a boss girl character and I loved the energy that she brought to this book. She was so meek pushover and I just loved that about her character. She knew how to hold her own with Dante and really play to her best assets. More than being a smart lady she was compassionate, kind and relatable in a lot of ways. As for our hero Dante, well he was a true alpha and I loved it! I loved everything about our hero, this guy was working the strong, broody aggressive boss vibe. This only made getting to see him falling hard for Vivian all the more delicious. Underneath all his hard, calculating businessman exterior Dante was a total romantic, I loved the care in which he put to plan all of their dates and the fact that he took the time and effort to really win her back.

”I spent thirty-seven years thinking my perfect match didn’t exist. you proved me wrong in less than one.”

Together these two characters were incredible, I loved getting to see them grow and develop as individuals but also as a couple. They truly made for an addictive read. As for the banter, good gosh! These two had such sparky chemistry that only made the build up of their relationship all the more firey! They played into the entire enemies to lovers trope to perfection and I loved seeing them slowly worm their way into each others hearts.

If you are like me and love an addictive book with some steamy banter, a strong leading lady, an alpha hero with a soft heart then this book is definitely for you! If King Of Wrath is anything to go by Huang’s new series Kings Of Sin is going to be one of her best yet and I for one can not wait to read more!

Elegant. Ambitious. Well-mannered.

Vivian Lau is the perfect daughter and her family’s ticket into the highest echelons of high society.

Marrying a blue-blooded Russo means opening doors that would otherwise remain closed to her new-money family.

While the rude, elusive Dante isn’t her idea of a dream partner, she agrees to their arranged marriage out of duty.

Craving his touch was never part of the plan.

Neither was the worst thing she could possibly do: fall in love with her future husband.
