Love in 3D Marie Harte is amazingly funny and keeps you hooked from the first sentence to the very last page. Marie Harte is one of my favorite authors and I was super excited to get the chance to read and review this amazing book. Let me tell you a little about Justine and Xavier.

Justine recently broke up with her boyfriend and had to move out of her apartment. With no place to go, her favorite aunt, who will be travelling, tells Justine that she can stay at her place for a few months. The apartment complex is cozy and a bit quirky. There’s a grumpy super, an introverted nerd and a cop raising two teenage nephews. And there’s Xavier – a hottie from 2C.

Xavier is perfect! He is handsome, polite and smart. He is currently on sabbatical from his therapist job and has a lot of time on his hands which he is very much willing to spend with his new neighbor.

Justine and Xavier hit it off almost immediately but they were both in denial. First they were insisting on staying in the friend zone despite obvious attraction on both sides. But when Justine’s sister is getting married and she needs to bring a plus-1, she asks Xavier to be her fake boyfriend to get her meddling family off her back and to stop them from trying to set her up.

I don’t want to give a lot about this amazing story away, but let me tell you, Justine and Xavier are a match made in heaven. As with all great stories, there are misunderstandings, and the apartment complex along with Justine’s family keep the reader laughing.

This is a great weekend read and I would highly recommend this to anyone that is looking for a wonderful HEA with memorable characters that you want to have for your own friends. 5 amazing stars!

A friends-to-lovers, fake-boyfriend romance from NYT and USA Today bestseller Marie Harte

Dear Aunt Truth: Thanks for taking the time to answer me.

I got 99 problems but a Mitch ain’t one. (Heh—he’s my ex.) My life is complicated. I have enough trouble dealing with my jerk of a boss, my overbearing parents, an awful bridesmaid’s dress, and my wayyyy too sexy downstairs neighbor. He’s the real problem.

The good news is we’re friends. Xavier is smart, kind, and heck, I’ll say it—beyond nice to look at. But when my mom forces me into a plus-one situation for my sister’s wedding, I lie and tell her I’m bringing Xavier—my new (fake) boyfriend.

He’s up for tricking my parents, especially if I return the favor with his mom, acting as his new (again, fake) girlfriend. Except somehow I find myself liking him a lot more than I should. And, well, things are getting heated, especially in the bedroom. I’m falling in love. And I’m not sure what to do about it…
