Man Splain by Vanessa Vale: Silas James is out to right the wrongs of his father and if that means he has to see his brothers begin to settle down one by one while he spearheads the family investments company, then that is exactly what he will do. The thought of not truly having a relationship has never really bothered Silas until now, well to be more precise until Eve. What started out as a simple drunken one night stand soon turns into so much more. Eve is trying her best to keep her small town coffee shop up and running but keeping a business afloat take a lot more money than what Eve has in the bank, so her best bet would be getting a small loan however when she walks into James Corp she comes face to face with non other than the bar hottie that rocked her world! The last thing Eve needs or wants is to have another man controlling her life which is why she hightails it out of James Corp opting to reject their help and rather take to adding cam girl to her resume to help pull in the extra money needed to for her coffee shop… to bad Silas is having non of this…

LOVED, this book was small town perfection. Right from the very first chapter this book was fire, the chemistry and passion between these two characters was everything! Man Splain is the first book by Vale that I have read but it will most certainly not be the last. Vale does a fantastic job of marrying the instant attraction and chemistry trope with the slow build up of their relationship, also I loved that she created such an independent leading lady.

Eve was easily one of the nicest leading ladies that I have read, she was so fierce and independent and I just loved this about her character. I loved that she knew what she wanted in life and was not afraid to work to achieve her dreams. I will say I really did not like her ex or the fact that her family just could not understand her, however our girl Eve is not one to give up or let anyone dull her light. As for Silas, well he was rocking those hot billionaire hero vibes. I really liked that he was genuinely a good person and that he wanted to make a difference. More than this I just loved how taken he was with Eve, he was totally smitten with her and this came across loud and clear with his actions.

Eve and Silas made one heck of a cute couple, these two understood each other in more ways than one and this only helped make their connection all the more strong. They both had similar up brings which helped them connect and understand each other as they got to know each other better. However it was that insanely hot instant chemistry that really got them going, I loved the instant spark between these two and the banter and playfulness that continued between them. I loved the fact that Silas never failed to stand up for Eve, he truly had her back at all times. These two truly were a pleasure to follow.

Man Splain is a must read, this steamy cute, small town romance will have you giggling, swooning and fanning your self as Eve and Silas figure out their way to each other.

It’s literally my job to make sure everything goes to plan. I’m really f-ing good at it. But when the beautiful coffee shop owner refuses a corporate loan to keep her business afloat solely because we had a slightly-drunk quickie, it makes me crazy. Insane. Frustrated. Turned on. Especially when I discover the stubborn woman chooses instead to be a cam girl to pay her bills. Of course, I step in, 1. I need to make this right. 2. There’s no way another man is going to glimpse one gorgeous inch of her. 3. It’s my fault. I buy up all her cam time. Problem solved. Except this is a plan I didn’t think through. Eve doesn’t know she’s falling for the same guy on and off the screen. What happens when she learns the truth? All I know is this may be the one problem I can’t fix.
