Mister Tonight by Kendall Ryan is one of those books you read when life stresses you out. I wasn’t in the greatest moods before starting this book, but within a couple pages, I was laughing out loud and my cranky mood was non-existent. Mister Tonight is a cute read, low on the angst, but high in the feels. Filled with humor, charming characters, and flirty banter…this is one book guaranteed to improve your day!
Mister Tonight, begins with Kate celebrating turning thirty. She’s in dire need to get laid and catches Hunter’s attention. The pair hit it off and continue their journey back to Hunter’s house. Kate and Hunter’s chemistry is through the roof and it’s easy to assume that their night together would end in a way neither would forget. But, when Hunter’s four-year daughter walks in on them, and thinks Kate is hurting her daddy, the mood is broken for the two and Kate bolts. Thankfully, neither must see the other again…right?
Fate is having fun with these two, when the next day Kate comes face to face with Hunter again. Apparently, he’s her new landlord for the apartment she wanted. It’s in a good area and just the right price, so it’s not like she can say no. The two agree to put the experience behind them.
Hunter and Kate give it the old college try at keeping their relationship strictly platonic, but it’s impossible to not become involved with each other. The chemistry still burns bright and it’s not something they can ignore. Kate suggests a no strings affair, but Hunter has other ideas. Will this single dad get Kate to change her mind, while showing her that they are meant for something more?
I loved the awkward situations the author put these characters into. It made for a very fun and humorous read. Recommended read!

From New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan comes a standalone romance about a swoony single dad and the new neighbor he falls for.
Last night was the most embarrassing night of my life.
I was that girl.
You know, the highly intoxicated chick celebrating her thirtieth birthday with her two best friends—who are happily married. And the more I drank, the more I wanted to do something reckless to celebrate.
By reckless, I mean the sexy and alluring man dressed in a business suit standing near the bar. You know his type—tall, dark, handsome. I was sure he was out of my league, but I’d had just enough alcohol that things like that no longer seemed to matter. I’m not fat, mind you, but you can tell I like french fries, so there’s that.
He took me home, and I enjoyed the hottest birthday sex of my life. Well, until it came to a screeching and rather unwelcome halt.
There’s nothing quite like being interrupted mid-ride with a little voice asking, “What are you doing to my daddy?”
Just kill me now . . . or so I thought.
Come to find out, the man I rode like a bull at the rodeo is my new landlord.
