Name Your Price by Holly James: Chemistry has never been Olivia and Chuck’s issue, in fact their explosive chemistry while having a rather public break up is how they find themselves sharing a house and trying to win a million dollars on a reality tv show. Crazy right? Well for anywhere else this would sound cray cray but when in Hollywood all is fair in love and fame, and if Olivia wants to be able to continue to pay for her grandmothers nursing home bills then she really cant turn up a chance at winning a cool million dollars, all she has to do is live with her ex Chuck for a month without wanting to kill him… for rising star Chuck a chance to get some one on one time with Olivia is exactly what he needs to try and win her back, he just needs to figure out a way to woo his girl without breaking any of the show no touching rules… the question is can these two keep it together while they kind of get back together?

I loved the idea of this book, I mean I am a total sucker for some good ole reality tv, truly a guilty pleasure I’m not even ashamed of, so this book truly was made for me. And let me just tell you I loved every moment of this quirky love lockdown style romcom. Name Your Price was the forced proximity trope personified, this book highlights the fine line between attraction and repulsion between this couple, and good gosh does it just made for some reading gold. I loved how explosive the chemistry between this couple truly was and how there really was never a dull moment with them.

Olivia was a great leading lady, she had some of the best character growth through this book, I just loved getting to see her discover more about her past and her parents. I will say at the beginning she came across as a bit annoying but she did grow on me as the book progressed and I have to say that I end up really liking her character and her dramatic story. I will say that I absolutely adored her relationship with her grandmother and the bond that they created. Ruby truly was a gem of a character and I loved that she showed Olivia the true meaning of family and love. Now for our hero, Chuck, well he was just as charming as I wanted his character to be, granted he did have his moments that were less than grand. Though the thing about Chuck that I really liked was the fact that when he understood that he had done something wrong he was not afraid to out in the work to fix things, I really liked how aware he was of his actions and how ready he was to work on himself.

While this couple had some insane chemistry, they really went deep then just good physical connection. I loved the fact that they genuinely cared about each other, even when they were trying not to care. They had a really nice bond and I loved all the banter and sass that flowed between them. I will say that their relationship time line was pretty insta love but personally I have no issue with this, especially in this kind of book.

Name Your Price is a total must read, this book is made for fans of reality tv with the added little incentive that our main couple is definitely going to get a happily ever after!

Sparks ignite as a pair of broke exes get locked in a house together on a reality show for a chance to win a million dollars, a second-chance romance that perfectly captures the absurd sincerity of made-for-TV love.

Olivia Martin and Chuck Walsh have chemistry. Too much chemistry, perhaps. Their every interaction as a couple either lights the house up with sexual tension or burns it down with anger. After one huge, very public fight, they finally break up for good. Or so they think. Someone was filming their dramatic argument in the street and—because Olivia’s parents were Hollywood royalty, and because Chuck’s an actor whose star is on the rise—the video goes viral. When Name Your Price, a reality game show, sees the footage, they invite Olivia and Chuck to shoot a very unusual Live locked in a house together for one month and they will be paid a million dollars. Each.

Olivia really needs the money if she’s going to keep her beloved grandmother in her nursing home, and Chuck is desperate for any chance to win Olivia back. So the game is on—even as the show tries to pluck every nerve with only one bed, one bathroom, and a set of rules that will lose them money if broken—including no touching. With stakes that have never been higher and their explosive chemistry at a fever pitch, can Chuck and Olivia keep it together (and their hands off each other) for one month? Find out next week on Name Your Price!
