In A Navy SEAL’s Surprise Baby by Laura Marie Altom, navy Seal Calder Remington needs a nanny ASAP. He needs to have his mind on his job and get his life back to normal, something that changed irrevocably when he was left in sole charge of his baby son. He needs an older woman who has raised her own children to be good upstanding citizens and have become doctors or lawyers A-Navy-SEALs-Surprise-Baby-by-Laura-Marie-Altomand is now ready to pass her wisdom to another generation, so far none of the nannies sent by the agency are up to his standards. And the next interview is with a woman named Pandora, just by her name he doesn’t believe that she will be what he needs.

Pandora Moore knows how hard life can be and now she is working very hard to regain what she has lost due to her bad ways of handling it. For that reason alone she needs the job, she loves children and living in-house would definitely help her save money and have the stability she needs. But right as she is introducing herself to the man that opened the door and her hopefully future employer, she notices that the baby is choking! Her instincts take over and she pushes past him to pick up the baby and apply the Heimlich maneuver on the baby to remove what he has tried to swallow.

After what she has done which is basically save his son’s life, Calder knows that he must hire her in repayment. She will start the job the following day on a trial basis, and help him get his life back to normal. What Calder didn’t expect is that living in close quarters with a sexy young woman will make him start craving the family life he thought that he never wanted.

But Pandora’s unexplained outings on every other Saturday start making Calder wonder what she is doing with her time. She avoids talking about her personal life and she seems to be hiding something from him, and unless he finds out what he won’t be able to be in peace at work while leaving his son with her all day long.

Life is not easy and Pandora has lived the worst sides of it, something that she deeply regrets now. But her will to leave all that behind and to fight to make something better are something worth admiring. Unfortunately not everyone is as understanding or forgiving, something that will split Calder and Pandora apart and probably cost her everything. And also a problem that will make Calder look at his own life and expectations a little closer and make him work hard to regain what he may have just thrown away.

For a heartrending, sweet and inspiring romance read, don’t miss A Navy SEAL’s Surprise Baby by Laura Marie Altom.
