Out of the Blue by Alison Bliss: The last thing anyone wants is for their entire town to see them while sweating like a little oinker and failing miserably on their fitness journey at the gym, however if something like this were to happen it would only happen to Preslee Owens. When her gym vlog accidentally goes viral the last thing Preslee expects is for everyone to absolutely love it! Left with little to no choice but to continue her fitness journey Preslee heads back to the gym only to discover that her unrequited crush, Josh, actually works out at the very same gym. Well now isn’t this just the unneeded pickle to find herself in, however all hope is not lost when her new personal trainer Adam offers to play the role of her boyfriend to help spark a bit of jealousy in Josh, while making sure that she dissent accidentally pull something in the process. With Adam in her corner backing her all the way Preslee can’t help but start to like being his pretend girlfriend a tiny bit too much, so will her new found confidence and courage will Preslee finally be able to grab what she really want?

Out Of The Blue was absolutely brilliant, I loved every single moment of this cute light hearted read. Not only was this book incredibly relatable but it flowed so smoothly. Normally fitness/body image novels are not my favourite to read however I really liked the way Bliss handled the entire topic and personally I just found it very easy to relate to a fuller figure gal tackling the entire fitness scene, lets be honest its not always easy to start and Preslee portrayed this down to a tee.

Preslee was a brilliant female lead, I loved that she was so real, relatable and totally clumsy. I loved that we got to join her on this journey and that her reasons for wanting to change her lifestyle were due to health reasons rather than vanity. I have to mention that I really liked that she put in the work required and was dedicated to her fitness journey.

I loved our hero, Adam was such a gem. I really enjoyed getting to read things from his perspective and that he was genuinely a nice guy. I loved that he was the owner of the gym but decided to become Preslee’s personal trainer and that they hit it off so well. I really enjoyed getting to see them interact and that Adam gave Preslee so much of support and was completely there for her. I absolutely loved their chemistry and how cute their entire fake relationship and the very real feeling that started to form.

Out Of The Blue is a definite must read this fake relationship romcom will have you laughing out loud and living vicariously through Preslee as she concurs her world.

The positive reaction leaves Preslee with no choice but to return—and the discovery that her unrequited crush, Josh, works out in the same gym is a big bonus.
