Picture Perfect Wedding (Magnolia Brides #3) by Lynnette Austin  PicturePerfectWeddingis the third book in the Magnolia Brides series, and like the rest of the books in this amazing series, it can be read as a stand alone. This is a book about finding forgiveness, getting a second chance with your first love. This is a story about friends, family and good old down home southern hospitality. This is the story of Beck and Tansy. (Let me tell you I have been waiting since book one for their story!)

Beck and Tansy were high school sweethearts, they loved each other deeply, and that comes through in this story. When Tansy goes away to school, and then her father dies suddenly, Tansy is in a tale spin. She has a one night stand and ends up pregnant, breaking her own heart and Becks in the process. Five years later, she is divorced and hiding the secret that her ex has a gambling addiction that put her and her little daughter in danger. Back home again, looking to rebuild her life, she is torn by the feelings that she still has for Beck and wanting to make things right between them.

Beck may be angry with Tansy, but he is a stand up guy. As the nosy busybodies in town keep throwing them together, they finally have a chance to talk through their past, to understand what went wrong. Beck never felt like he was good enough for Tansy, thinking that she deserved so much more than what he could offer. But when her ex comes to town, threatening Tansy and her daughter, Beck will pull out all the stops to protect the woman that he still loves, and the little girl that he has come to adore as if she were his.

I love the connection between Tansy and Beck. Both of them felt unworthy of a second chance. Tansy knew that she really hurt Beck. It took her longer to believe that he had truly gotten over the past. I love that Beck was willing to show her with his actions that they could have a future. It is a testament to the man he is that he so easily was willing to step up and step in to be the father figure for her daughter, never flinching or questioning, just doing something to make a little girl feel special. The fact that the characters from past stories are all part of this beautiful trip is a bonus. I look forward to the next book.

One mistake can change everything…forever

Beck Elliot and Tansy Calhoun were inseparable-until Tansy left Misty Bottoms, Georgia, promising to come back after she finished school. Beck stayed behind to save the family business, dreaming of the day when Tansy would return. Instead, his trust and his heart were broken when she inexplicably married another man and bore his child.

Five years later, Tansy comes home, a sadder and wiser woman. Despite his anger, Beck finds it hard to avoid her and her adorable little daughter-especially with all the busybodies of Misty Bottoms going out of their way to throw him and Tansy together, hoping a lingering spark will reignite their enduring flame…
