Pregnant with the Rancher’s Baby by Kathie DeNosky: Running away doesn’t solve anything, especially not matters of the heart. However sometimes it takes getting thrown for a loop to realize that.

Jessica Farrell had a pretty good life. She was proud of her career as a nurse. She came from a good family, even if they didn’t really understand the value of anything but money. She also knew she was in danger of losing her heart to the man she had been seeing off and on for the last two and a half years. That’s why the last time she finally said goodbye.

Nate Rafferty knew he had to figure it out. He was getting older. The rodeo was great and he was still killing it but he was definitely getting older. He also knew running away wasn’t going to solve anything. Why did he keep running back to her though? That’s what he couldn’t quite figure out. Ms. DeNosky always has a way with words and this work is no exception. She brings life to this story in the interactions between her characters that are both vivid and realistic. She brings depth to their personalities with both inner monologues and their interactions with one another.

Pregnant with the Rancher’s Baby is a great read about overcoming your self view and finding out that when you love you can overcome.
