Reclaimed by His Billion-Dollar Ring is a lovely slow burn second chance Romance by Julia James and her April 2023 new release.
Young love burns bright until it’s cruelly snuffed out by the pain knowing your Love has been paid off by your father to leave. So when Nik crosses the floor to greet her father many years later Calanthe’s hackles rise big time. Nikos is now a self made man and taking the world by storm. He’s now welcomed with wide arms into the businesses and functions of the rich and famous. Calanthe’s father knows he doesn’t have long to live and thinks Nik would be the perfect son in law and man to take over his business so he’s out to match make Calanthe and Nik; not realising who Nik is.
Nik and Calanthe’s story revolves a lot around memories. Neither has forgotten their love for each other but Calanthe refuses to let him near her and I loved her spirit. Nik knows the truth and it’s not until Calanthe declares their marriage to be in name only that Nik decides it’s time to reveal what really happened.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves a slow, slow burn. There’s minimal angst and I loved that Calanthe’s Dad was such a loveable character. A lovely and safe read for anyone who likes sweet heroines and self made very likeable heroes.

It’s been eight years since Nikos Kavadis left Calanthe Petranakos without a goodbye, but the sting feels fresh when she sees him across a crowded Athens ballroom. He once introduced her to passion—then he shattered her trust.
It’s horribly clear Calanthe is still susceptible to Nikos’s potent brand of masculinity. But even so, the Greek’s shocking proposal leaves her breathless. Because whilst agreeing to be his bride is the only way to help her ailing father, it feels like she’s walking back into the lion’s den…
