Release Me by Ann Marie Walker and Amy K. Rogers: Allie’s life has just been turned upside down. She needs Hudson more than ever, but after learning of his betrayal, he’s the last person she should want by her side. She’s trying to just get through the days until she gets the very unwelcome news that she has no choice but to work with Hudson. Hudson would love nothing more than to be at Allie’s side, and he’s determined to beg for another chance.
“We need to work this out,” he said.
“No, what we need is for you to stop. There’s nothing to work out. I don’t feel-”
“Don’t bother denying it,” he said, cutting off the lies she was about to spew. “It’s obvious you still have feelings for me or you wouldn’t be running out of here.”
They are obviously miserable without each other and it doesn’t get better with time. Finally, they find their way back to each other with a very special reunion. Hudson and Allie are committed and determined to make their relationship work this time. Both are willing to show just how much they love and appreciate each other.
“It will be special because you’re here. The rest of this,” he waved his hand vaguely through the air, “while appreciated, is inconsequential.”
A feeling of warmth spread through her, “Thank you, but I happen to like all of this, so get building,” she teased.
“Ribbon, Alessandra. Plenty of it left.”
Release Me is a reunion story with another chance for Hudson and Allie to get it right as timing, age, money, and parental approval have all worked against them in the past. One of the conflicts I was anticipating isn’t directly introduced until close to the end of the book.
Ann Marie Walker and Amy K. Rogers picked up right where they left off with Release Me and carry the reader along on a sexy journey that ends on somewhat of a cliffhanger. Ms. Walker and Ms. Rogers provided great secondary characters in Harper and Nick. Fans of Lauren Smith will enjoy Release Me.

Thanks for the review, Kim. It sounds good, though I’m not a fan of cliff hangers.

I’m with you there! I hate waiting for the next book while I’m hanging off that cliff!
