In Seducing Lauren (Love Under the Big Sky #2) by Kristen Proby, Lauren Cunningham turns to the only person she knows can help her with her ex-husband’s legal threat, local lawyer Tyler Sullivan. A man whom she has known all her life and, to be honest, has always been attracted to. Ty turns Lauren’s case down, not because he doesn’t want to SLauhelp her, but he tells her because it would be a conflict of interest as he wishes to date her. Soon the two of them become inseparable as their chemistry turns their friendship into something more.

‘His arms tighten around me, pulling me into the safety of his embrace, and I know that no matter what kind of shit Jack throws my way, I can stand up to him. Ty will be right there by my side. And for the first time since my parents died, I feel…safe.’

But Lauren’s ex won’t stay out of the picture, continuing with the threats, both legal and otherwise. Ty will do anything he can to protect her as he realizes just how deep his feelings are for this amazing woman. It’s not just a physical need. They are both becoming a part of each other’s every day lives. With trouble still lurking around the corner, should they rush headlong into a full-fledged romance? Or will they be able to take their time and see what happens as they go?

“I’m going to slowly worship every inch of this amazing body, Lauren. Do you have any issues with that?”
I shake my head no, entranced in the heat in his eyes.

With a name like Seducing Lauren, I should have guessed that this was going to be a seriously–and I do mean seriously–HOT romance, bordering on erotic. I have a feeling that the hero, super sexy and complete sweetie Tyler Sullivan, will soon become a lot of ladies newest book boyfriend. *fans face*

Book two in the Love Under the Big Sky series pleasantly surprised me. I wasn’t expecting a romance that would keep me engrossed, start to finish, with a plot that kept building or with such well developed characters who each added something important to the story. Plus we got a strong & sassy, independent heroine who was learning how capable she truly was on her own and that love didn’t have to come at a price. Whether it be a monetary or an emotional sacrifice.

I liked that even though at first Lauren was afraid to enter into a relationship again, she was willing to start a friendship with Tyler and see where it went from there. Of course, it didn’t hurt that he was such a caring, understanding guy. Who also happened to be a total badass whenever needed. Their love scenes turned out to be some of the most fun, dirty, and yet caring scenes I’ve read for a while. Did I mention this story is really hot? 😉 But honestly, I thought the level of trust Lauren and Tyler formed, as well as the way they protected each other was really what stood out about their relationship.

If you have a thing for attentive alpha males with a heart of gold, and capable heroines who love fiercely and can hold their own, definitely give Seducing Lauren a try.
