Summer Escape with the Tycoon by Donna Alward: Can you really say you like the person you are now?

Molly Quinn thought she liked who she was, but then when she got down to it she couldn’t even figure out who she was. Was she her job? She certainly hoped not. Yet if she wasn’t her job, what was she? She really didn’t have a clue.

Eric Chambault knew he hadn’t a clue who he was. He just knew that he wasn’t enough, not for his dad, his family or even his now ex wife. He was a mess that was what he knew. Was it time for a change or was it time for acceptance was the bigger question. On that he didn’t have any answer to.

Eric and Molly didn’t have the best of beginnings (either time) but being drawn together and then thrown together can do a lot and help make a lot of decisions. When vacation ends and reality comes back…. That is where the rubber will meet the road.

Ms. Alward has done a wonderful job with her woman’s it novel. It is definitely not a hot and heavy if that is what you are looking for. It is a novel that has a slow build up to a brighter story. The descriptions are great, problems are real and the solutions make sense. This is a great novel for a peaceful and restful read.
