But that will not stop him from wanting to break the hard shell she has around her and find out what lies beneath all that abrasive personality, fierce independence and loyalty to her friends on the island.
Maggie and Dex are both very strong-minded and independent, but Dex knows when to back down and when to continue fighting. Something that makes this a very entertaining read. Their constant jabs and banter will keep you laughing throughout the book. But things will not go easy for either of them, because the lie that Dex used in the beginning will not be easily forgiven by Maggie, and to make matters worst, when her father shows up things will get more tense and complicated.
