REVIEW: The Christmas She Married The Playboy by Louise Fuller

The Christmas She Married The Playboy by Louise Fuller is a marriage of convenience story which was, so, so much fun!

Figure skater Santa hops into the wrong Limo and it puts the wheels in motion for life changing events. Louis, who’s recently inherited his title of Duke, is the most convincingly spoilt playboy. Of course it’s a front and the author did a great job redeeming him. In the winter wonderland of a Zurich ski village. Santa and Louis cross paths a couple of times but it’s when Santa’s at the most exclusive ball that things become edge of your seat reading. When scandal erupts, Louis suggests the most preposterous idea, marriage! Both damaged from their past’s, marriage calms them and they get to know one another on a deeper level

I loved the banter. I loved the sass. I loved the humour. I just loved how fun this story was. Unpopular opinion I think but I took it for what it was – fun! And it made me laugh. Once Santa and Louis are married they are more open to each other and as they grow closer the story becomes sweeter. It’s not smooth sailing but is the road to love ever smooth?

Not for the traditionalists, recommended for those with an open mind and looking for a fun vibe? This is it! I would go so far as to say Louise Fuller made me feel Hallmark Christmas movie vibes.
