The DM Diaries by Teagan Hunter: Being a plus size influencer is not easy, just ask Olive. While trying to stay relevant and still true to herself is proving to be a lot harder than she had expected, Olive turns to venting her feelings in a rather unconventional way, DMing hot shot movie star Jasper Rafferty. Spilling her guts to Jasper is easy, especially seeing as there is no way that he would ever actually read her messages… right? Well that is until he does, well kind off… Jude is pretty much lost well that is until one wrong interview lands him in the role of being his hot shot movie star brother Jasper’s social media manger.

What was supposed to be a boring job to help Jude reboot his image soon turns into something a bit more interesting when he comes across Olives messages. There is just something so real and unfiltered about Olives messages that Jude can not ignore, which is how he finds himself responding to her… well responding as Jasper… the only problem is soon the exchanges become a bit more flirty and a whole lot more personal, how can Jude come clean that Olive has been chatting to him all this time not Jasper, without breaking the bond that they have already formed?

LOVED!! This book was just perfection! I loved the concept and the way it followed through was even better than I had hoped. I think at some stage we have all wondered what if our famous crush would respond to a dm and start a whirlwind love story, well The DM Diaries is that and even more! This book was everything that I could have asked for in a cute and slightly unconventional romcom, there was banter, angst, a bit of drama and a whole lot of swoon.

I loved Olive, she was one of the nicest and easiest to love leading ladies. She was relatable and I loved how body positive she was. I really enjoyed getting to follow her as she opened up to Jude about her insecurities and her dreams. I loved the fact that she was a plus size girlie and she wanted to stay true to herself instead of bending to society’s pressures. Now for our hero well I loved Jude. He was genuinely a really nice guy and his dedication to helping his brother was admirable. I loved that he instantly connected with Olive and that he saw something in her that called to something in him. Jude truly was a cinnamon roll hero, the more you got to know the guy the more you loved him.

The chemistry between Jude and Olive was perfection. I loved their banter and the fact that Olive was so sassy. There was such a brilliant emotional connection between these two and I loved getting to see it unfold. I think they both found comfort in opening up while having the safety of their screens, but this also added into the pressure of Jude having to come clean about his identity. While this was not a spicy read the emotion journey that these two characters take us on more than makes up for the lack in spice.

I absolutely loved reading The DM Diaries, this book was the perfect modern-day romcom read. With banter, sassy, a cinnamon roll hero and a sassy plus size leading lady this book is a total must read!

Olive O’Brien is a plus-size influencer with half a million followers and big dreams. And she’s feeling the pressure to stand out while staying true to herself. To cope, Olive finds solace in an unexpected the DMs of Jasper Rafferty, the world’s hottest movie star, where she feels safe to share her hopes, fears, and secrets because it’s not like he’ll read them. Until he does. Kind of.

Career-wise, Jasper’s younger brother, Jude, is in free fall. After an interview gone wrong, Jude now has the thankless job of managing his brother’s social media accounts to help reboot his own image. Olive’s messages are unexpected, and her wit and vulnerability catch his interest. How can “Jasper” not respond? And how long can Jude keep up the ruse?

As the DMs get flirtier and more personal, the bigger question is what’ll happen when Olive finds out she’s fallen for a fraud. It might not be what either of them expects.
