The Doctor’s Forbidden Fling by Karin Baine is a well written romance on the second chance with a simple yet enjoyable story line.

Violet and Nate have a long history behind them and it makes their romance even more realistic and enjoyable. Nate was hurt badly when Violet left without a second glance and he has since learnt to guard his heart against any form of happily ever afters. Violet is someone the reader can easily relate and understand. Her dilemmas and reasons for leaving were genuine according to me.

The romance is both emotional and passionate mainly due to the effortless chemistry, the main characters share. There is many things the characters have to overcome given the amount of time which has passed between then and the misunderstandings they have but in the end its all worth it when they get their happily ever after.

Overall,The Doctor’s Forbidden Fling by Karin Baine is an emotional and enjoyable read which had me hooked from the start to finish.
