The Love Triangle by Nic Tatano is witty, fresh, and completely enjoyable.

The-Love-TriangleLexi Harlow is known as the Spin Girl. She knows how to spin a story to work in someone’s favor but only if they can be redeemed. She just fired her last client because he cheated on his wife with a prostitute. Because of her high standards, Kyle Caruso offers her a chance to help out with one of his clients. After Lexi handles the client successfully, pro quarterback and one of New York’s most eligible bachelors, Jake Frost, asks her out. Of course, a little bit later on Kyle asks her out, as well, leading to our epic love triangle.

Lexi just ended a two-year relationship with her boyfriend because she caught him cheating. When Jake and Kyle both take an interest in her, she decides to date them both. Now, here’s the thing, Lexi is totally upfront with both of them and isn’t sleeping with one and going right to the other. There is none of that in this story, which by the way I thought was really refreshing! They both get the chance to wine and dine her and it gives Lexi the chance to just have fun while seeing if either of the two men might be her Mr. Right.

Jake and Kyle couldn’t be more different from each other. Jake is the tall, successful pro quarterback who has frequent supermodels on his arm and Kyle is shorter, just starting his company, and clips coupons.

“At the end of the day, looks and wealth don’t mean a damn thing.”

I adored Lexi. She lives by the same rules I do and sticks to her morals. Given her career in public relations, it’s really promising to read about someone in that chosen field who refuses to represent someone who knowingly engages in infidelity. Usually, money talks but not with Lexi. She’s an outspoken redhead that knows what she wants and goes out to find it. Lexi will go down as one of my favorite heroines ever.

With a love triangle, readers will immediately pick a side who they want the hero or heroine to end up with and my pick definitely shines throughout the whole story, making you wish all men shared the same qualities as him. There is some drama in this story as one of the men shows his true colors and eventually causes some trouble, but the right man certainly rises to the occasion.

This is my first book by this author but it won’t be the last. This story is so well-written, time will just past you by, as you read your way to the end. For readers who enjoy humor with their romance, I would highly recommend The Love Triangle!

Public relations expert Lexi Harlow is the queen of getting her clients out of sticky situations. But can she do it for herself?

After an incendiary breakup (setting fire to her cheating boyfriend’s pants), Lexi decides to play the field for the first time in her life. Two suitors are vying for her affections: New York’s most eligible bachelor and pro quarterback Jake Frost, and sports agent Kyle Caruso. But when the athlete hires the agent, and both enlist her services to take care of public relations, well…

There’s only one way Lexi can get out of this love triangle before everything blows up in her face: choose one.

But when the candle she’s burning at both ends meets in the middle, the choice is no longer hers.
