The Marriage Solution by Stephanie Rose: When Landon and Julie arrived in Vegas for their friends wedding, they never would have imagined that they two would wind up getting married. After being friends for the better part of each others lives there is nothing that Landon and Julie wouldn’t do for each other, which is exactly why Landon proposes a marriage of convenience to Julie. It really is the perfect solution to Julies unforeseen medical issues. After all its only supposed to be a marriage in name for Julie to get on Landon’s health insurance, that is until his job relocates him to New York… now not only is Landon living with his wife but he is kind of developing feelings for her! Things are about to get a bit complicated in what was supposed to be a simple solution…
I am such a fan of the Marriage of convenience/ fake turned real marriage trope and this book truly delivers a beauty! There really was nothing not to love about this book, the pace was great, the characters were loveable and their story absolutely perfect. I have to mention that Rose has done a very good job with conveying chronic illness and the changes that one has to make to their daily lives.
“I’d never believed “the one” existed until I’d married her – and then I’d realized that she’d been there all along.”
I just fell in love with Landon, he was easily one of the sweetest heroes that I have read in ages. This guy was a warm hug on a cold day, a total sweetheart. He was fiercely protective of Julie and I just loved that he only wanted the best for her. He was such caring and kind guy, I just loved that he made sure that Julie was always okay. Simply put Landon was a swoon fest. Julie was a darling, I really liked our leading lady. I loved that even though she was facing a lot of personal struggles and dealing with her illness was not easy, she never crumbled. Her strength and resilience made her all the more amazing and loveable.
I just loved getting to see these two slowly move from life long friends into this in-between place of are we more, can we be more, to being totally in love. Their connection was just beautiful and I loved getting to see their relationship grow and transform.
The Marriage Solution was so much more than just a love story, this book truly celebrates the beauty of friendship and all that comes with being there for someone that you care about. I would definitely recommend reading The Marriage Solution.

Julie
My hot, fiercely protective best friend Landon just dropped to one knee in the middle of the Bellagio with the perfect solution to all my problems.
After an unexpected diagnosis and a run of bad luck, I’m officially down and out. That is, until my best friend of two decades offers me his name… and his health insurance.
We’re in Vegas for someone else’s wedding. The last thing I ever expected was a proposal of my own—especially from Landon, my rock, my closest friend even when we’re miles apart. He’s always been gorgeous, but except for that drunken almost-kiss back in college, the only thing between us is friendship.
What’s a marriage of convenience between pals? Besides, Landon lives hundreds of miles away. Nothing has to change.
Right?
Landon
I popped the question, put a ring on it, and slapped Julie’s name on my health insurance policy. Problem solved.
It’s supposed to be a marriage of convenience. However, when my job relocates me to New York and I move in with my wife I find out there’s nothing convenient about our arrangement.
It all seemed so simple until the Elvis officiant said, “kiss the bride.” The second our lips touched, nothing was ever the same.
