The third installment of The Skavanga Diamonds introduces yet another intriguing Skavanga sister and a compelling hero to match her. There might be a story about their long lost older brother, so this book is certainly not the end of the series. Leila is a sweet, innocent heroine who has lived her life within the boundaries she has set for herself. She longs to break free and do something exciting at least once. I liked her because she appeared very vulnerable towards the starting but was actually very strong in defending herself and standing up to Raffa whenever necessary. I did not find her frosty as the blurb suggests. Raffa is an alpha hero defined by a past which still haunts him. He was very possessive of Leila for the major part of the book and the reason behind the same is revealed afterwards.
The only flaw for me was the plotline because almost everything was quite predictable.
Overall, The Purest of Diamonds? by Susan Stephens is an enjoyable read for anyone following The Skavanga Diamonds series.
