A well written inter racial romance about second chance love and the best in this series till now. It can be read as a standalone but I think it is better to read from the first part to get a better understanding.

Anais and Dario have an amazing chemistry and the tension between them is spot on from the instant they meet again. Anais has changed a lot since her separation from Dario and is a much stronger person. I thought she was an incredible mother with a spine of steel. Dario is an alpha hero who is difficult to like at times due to his personality. He was deeply affected when his marriage broke down and discovering he has a son is the last straw for him.

The romance was passionate, emotional and enjoyable due to the mounting tension between the couple. I loved the romance overall and though Dario was not the type of hero I usually prefer, Anais balanced him out pretty well. Recommended for all Harlequin Presents lovers.
