The Reunion by Meghan Quinn: When Peggy and Martin Chase requested that their three kids return home to help celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary they definitely did not expect things to end up being so chaotic. However with all three Chase kids back in town its a sure fire way to spark some sibling bashing, harsh words and some old drama too flare up. The question is can Ford, Cooper and Palmer get their acts together before they ruin such a big milestone for their parents all while trying to mend their strained sibling bond and hopefully taking a chance on true love for themselves?
After reading The One Night I have been itching to get my hands on a copy of The Reunion and let me just say that Meghan Quinn has not disappointed, this book was everything and more that we have come to expect and love from Quinns books. The only thing that I had wished for is that Quinn had divided this into three individual books, but that’s purely because I’m greedy for more Meghan Quinn goodness!
“Yes, this is my family. We might not see each other often, but when we’re in the same room, the oversharing and invasion of privacy is boss level.”
With this book we get to see the story unfold from all three siblings points of view, while getting to see them tackle their own problems. First we have the oldest Ford, who has his head so buried in the family business that he has lost sight of what the business actually stands of but worst of all he has lost sight of his relationship with his siblings. But never fear he has his trusty assistant Larkin to give him the much needed push in the right direction. Now to be fair Ford was not my favourite but the more we got to see of him the more I found myself liking him, especially when he let loose with Larkin. Gosh these two just made the cutest couple, I loved that Larkin just knew how to shake him out of this funk and help him reconnect with not only the business but also his siblings.
Second we have our boy Cooper, after that cliffhanger ending in The One Night, I was super eager to get more of Cooper and Nora’s story and gosh did these two deliver that angsty goodness. From the three I found myself liking Coop the most, not only did he care for his parents and stay close to home but he was actually trying to better his life. My heart broke for him in that he just felt ignored and pushed aside by his siblings. I loved the comic relief that Coop and Nora brought to this book, these two were hands down my favourite couple. Nora was such a hoot I loved the battle of the cake flavour and how she handled it.
“Next thing I know, I’m being saved by a knight in a white lab coat. A knight I used to think about all the time.”
Last we have the baby of the family, Palmer. Now this girl really had a lot going on, not only was her food blogger job drying up but she was kind of broke and needed a place to stay but low and behold her parents are selling the house leaving Palmer homeless and once again feeling like the family failure. My heart really broke for her, she really had a lot going on by just didn’t know how to let her guard down and let her family in. I really liked that moment when all three siblings came together to work through their issues and getting to see Palmer open up to the boys. Among all her pain Palmer was hilarious especially when she was getting herself all muddy and saying silly things to Dr. Beau. I loved getting to see these two finally realise their mutual feelings.
The Reunion was an absolute treat to read, this book checked every single box and then some. There were loads of laughs, some tears and three very cute romances to tie it all together. I would highly recommend reading this book, I can’t wait to see what Quinn has planned for next!

From the USA Today bestselling author of The Wedding Game comes a new romantic comedy about the antics that ensue when three siblings come together for their parents’ fiftieth-anniversary party.
Martin and Peggy Chance believe love should last a lifetime. With their fiftieth wedding anniversary on the horizon, they’ve modeled a beautiful relationship for their three grown children. But to their dismay, that lesson hasn’t quite caught on—the three siblings just can’t seem to take a chance and find love in their own lives.
There’s Ford, the eldest, devoted to his work and resistant to romance…or so he claims. Cooper, the middle child, can’t get past his divorce—until he reconnects with a feisty baker from his past. And Palmer, the baby of the family, is the free-spirited world traveler who always pictured herself with someone other than a handsome small-town family doctor.
When the Chance siblings come together to plan the ultimate anniversary party for their parents, they’ll have to navigate romantic entanglements, sibling rivalries, and the definitive end of their childhood. Whatever happens, The Reunion promises to be a fun, flirty, wild ride.
