The Roommate Rule by Georgia Stone: Dylan is the definition of organized. She likes structure, certainty, and having a plan for everything. Max is her complete opposite—a carefree flirt who rarely overthinks anything. When an unexpected opportunity lands them in a shared cabin in Wales for six weeks, Dylan is determined to keep things strictly platonic.

THE ROOMMATE RULE by Georgia Stone was a steamy opposites-attract romance with a gorgeous Welsh setting, and two roommates who quickly discover that some rules are made to be broken.

Dylan was such a relatable heroine. Beneath her need for control was someone who had spent a long time protecting herself from disappointment and uncertainty. Watching her push beyond her comfort zone and embrace experiences she never would have chosen for herself was one of my favorite parts of the story. Max’s easygoing personality, sense of humor, and ability to make everyone around him feel comfortable made him an incredibly appealing hero. But there was more depth to him than Dylan initially realized. The more time they spent together, the more layers she uncovered.

The chemistry between Dylan and Max was playful, flirty, and packed with tension, but what made their relationship work so well was the way they challenged each other’s approach to life. Max encouraged Dylan to loosen her grip on the things she couldn’t control and embrace spontaneity, while Dylan helped Max recognize the value of stability and intentionality. Watching them meet in the middle and discover that they brought out the best in each other made their romance incredibly satisfying.

THE ROOMMATE RULE was a fun, romantic escape filled with gorgeous scenery, plenty of chemistry, and a couple whose differences made them stronger together. Between the travel adventure, the forced proximity, and the emotional growth woven throughout the story, this was a romance that kept me smiling from beginning to end.
