She just never expected her new match to also turn out to be her new neighbor.
Not having the best dating history Marcus is determined to keep his heart safely guarded that is until his work all but forces him into finding himself a dare, the only sucky part being even if he does find his miss.right he can’t truly be himself with her. But as luck would have it Marcus matches with his new neighbor the pretty Lyra, as steamy as their connection maybe these two just don’t seem to click. Things take a surprising turn when these two learn just how intertwined their lives actually are, what will Marcus and Lyra do when they learn that they are both after the same target but work for opposing companies?
I’m a huge fan of Nana Malone’s books so when I saw the cover and blurb of this one I was instantly sold. I loved the idea of a romance between two spies, I will say that this book definitely had some Mr. & Mrs. Smith vibes going but with a Nana twist to the story.
I instantly loved Marcus with his quiet gentleman act who is hiding a whole alter ego that he can’t share with anyone. I loved that when all the strange things started to happen he instantly felt the need to protect Lyra thinking he was the one that put her in harms way. As for Lyra, now it took me a bit longer to warm up to her. There was just something that felt a tiny bit superficial for my liking.
My only issues with The Spy In 3B was that it ended in a major cliffhanger! As far as cliffhangers go this is a biggie! Talk about leaving us hanging Nana! Overall this romance thriller is a must read, Malone’s captivating writing style coupled with this fun drama filled read will have you counting down the days till the second book is released!
