Wes Tanner has been in Three Springs, Texas for a few years now. After his service as a Navy SEAL ended Wes stopped in town to extend his condolences to the grandfather of his best friend in the SEALs, Jake Bradley. Jake’s grandfather Boone offered Wes a place to stay and a job which Wes accepted. He had no place else to go. His brother sold the family ranch in Colorado after the death of their mother and ran off with the proceeds from the sale. Wes plans to find him and get his half of the inheritance. Until then Three Springs works, especially now that Abby James has come to town.
The Texas SEAL’s Surprise by Cari Lynn Webb is the first book in her Three Springs, Texas series. This book has quite an interesting storyline. Wes doesn’t want to set down roots in Three Springs and Abby hopes to make the town her forever home as it seems to be a great place to raise a family. Neither one is looking for a relationship. What they both find is family isn’t necessarily bonded in blood, neighbors help each other in times of need and love will find you whether you are ready or not.
