REVIEW: The Vet’s Escape to Paradise by Becky Wicks

A stunning island love story is how I’d describe Becky Wicks’s August release The Vet’s Escape to Paradise.

Vet Ivy and single Dad Jero are a super match. Their layers compliment each other and the addition of Jero’s daughter is a delight. The wildlife theme is beautiful and the location is stunning. Both Ivy and Jero have suffered in their love lives and the author weaves fabulous dialogue, stunning locations and brilliant adventure together to craft one of the most fun but moving stories I’ve read. Not just a love story, it’s a love story with a message.

A fast paced, beautifully set and heart warming medical romance set in the stunning Galapagos Islands. Interwoven with a conservation theme which is clearly a passion of the author. I adore the cover and I feel it depicts the story beautifully. Dedicated to the Galapagos Conservation Trust, please visit the author’s website to find out more and to support the Trust.

I think I’ve just discovered a fascinating author, new to me and I’m excited for it!

She’s sworn never to be a mother, and after his divorce, Jero’s priority is his child. But as Ivy’s drawn into his work with the local wildlife, and his daughter latches on to her, she starts changing her mind about a family…
