In The Wedding Night Debt by Cathy Williams, Billionaire Dio Ruiz’s convenient union was meant to secure two things: vengeance and the enticing Lucy Bishop. But from their wedding night onwards Dio’s found his marriage bed inconveniently empty. Two years later, his virgin bride wants a divorce.
Hurt and humiliated to learn their vows were just a business transaction to Dio, Lucy has played the perfect wife in public, while their cold war waged in private. She wants to walk away–not bow to his command! Can she pay Dio’s price and survive ten days as true husband and wife?
The Wedding Night Debt by Cathy Williams was a well written romance with the revenge and second chance romance trope.
Lucy is a strong heroine who stole the story when she refused to surrender herself when she learned about Dio’s deceit. I loved how hard she made him work to regain her trust after he betrayed her. She had a vulnerable side too but she always stood for herself . Dio is an alpha hero who is arrogant, insanely rich and is somebody who gets what he wants. I loved the intensity in his character which made him stand out. The romance was enjoyable because of the awesome chemistry between the main characters. The love scenes were awesome and super steamy!
The only problem I had with this story was the pace of it, which was not consistent and affected the amazing rush the romance had. It made some parts boring at times.
Overall,The Wedding Night Debt by Cathy Williams an enjoyable romance which is recommended for the author’s fans!
