REVIEW: The Wedding Quilt Bride by Marta Perry

The Wedding Quilt Bride Marta Perry is such a gifted writer, and I enjoy both her romances for Love Inspired, as well as her longer in length Amish novels.

In “The Wedding Quilt Bride”, Rebecca, newly widowed, comes home to her parents from Ohio where she lived with her husband before his passing. Rebecca carries a haunting secret with her about the true state of her marriage and what kind of a person her late husband was. She encounters childhood friend Daniel, who is now a carpenter- he starts to work for Rebecca to build the quilt shop she longs to have.

Slowly, their friendship is rekindled as she learns she can trust him and also trust male family members. Her young son forms a quick friendship with Daniel and starts to feel at ease in Lost Creek.

Will Rebecca and Daniel have a chance at happiness together? Will secrets from her marriage, and her former in laws, make things difficult for her? I recommend that fellow readers pick up a copy of “The Wedding Quilt Bride” to find out!
