In The Wife He Couldn’t Forget by Yvonne Lindsay, An accident leaves Xander Jackson with amnesia, he does not remember the past several years and therefore has no memory of his troubled marriage.

His wife, Olivia, grabs this chance to start over with the man she still desires. Allowing Xander to believe they’re still the passionate, loving couple they once were is one thing. But Olivia must also hide all evidence of the devastating loss that destroyed their relationship. It’s the biggest gamble of her life and everything depends on reclaiming Xander’s heart.

The Wife He Couldn’t Forget by Yvonne Lindsay was a well written and enjoyable romance on the amnesia trope. The best part of the story was that it was wonderfully structured with a believable conflict which does not seem forced or unlikely.

Olivia’s covering up some facts related to their troubled relationship on the verge of divorce might not be the right thing she did but I thought it was brave for her to take a risk to give a second chance to their love. Olivia and Xander are both well developed characters with their own troubled pasts and in some ways they were similar.

The romance is emotional, believable and I enjoyed every moment of The Wife He Couldn’t Forget by Yvonne Lindsay.
