The Wife the Spaniard Never Forgot by Pippa Roscoe is a January 2023 new release.

Dropping everything (literally) Emily rushes to her ex husband’s side when he’s in a nasty car accident. As Javier’s next of kin she’s the one who calls the shots much to the disgust of his crazy mother.

Misdiagnosed with amnesia, Javier can only be released if he goes home with Emily but Emily’s not having a bar of it. She knows 100% Javier doesn’t have amnesia but she’s second guessing herself when he shows absolutely no reaction to her home decorating. Javier longs for his wife to be back home and see’s this as his one shot to win his wife back. A battle of the hearts ensues.

An amnesia themed story which the author captured the emotional roller coaster of lost love to a T. Three dimensional characters who were vulnerable and wore their heart on their sleeves. Javier and Emily battled each other the only way they knew how and the results were funny and heart breaking and everything in between. Emily showed her strength from the start and Javier’s love for Emily shone bright through out. Misunderstandings needed to be addressed. Crazy family needed to be dealt with and broken hearts needed mending.

I really, really enjoyed The Wife the Spaniard Never Forgot, the emotional journey that a reunion romance brings was captured beautifully and I will be re-reading in the future.

His wife is back…
Can he make sure it’s for good?

When Emily is called to her estranged husband’s bedside after an accident, amnesia is the word on everyone’s lips. But the arrogance in Javier Casas’s powerful gaze tells a different story…

Although Javier may wish he didn’t recall the pain of Emily walking out six years ago, his memory is perfectly intact. Yet the misdiagnosis provides the ideal opportunity to finally discover why she left. And to remind Emily of the connection he’s not ready to forget…not when every heated look makes it clear she still feels it too!
