There’s Something about Merry by Codi Hall: Merry Winters returned to her family’s Christmas tree farm in the small town of Mistletoe, Idaho. She wants to learn to run the tree farm, but she feels like her father doesn’t trust her especially when he hires Clark Griffin as the foreman. She had a crush on Clark in high school and now she is crushing on him again, but he wants nothing to do with him. After her last relationship failure, she had sworn off men to rediscover herself but now after a year, she is ready to find her happy ever after. With there being hardly any choices of men in Mistletoe, she signs up for a dating app.

Clark moved to California to get his agricultural science degree. After becoming a single father, he worked hard to finish school and then moved back to Mistletoe to become the foreman for the tree farm where he had worked as a teenager. He is shocked by the warmth of the Winters family and the way they included him and his son in their family. Lonely but not wanting a relationship after being hurt by his girlfriend leaving him and their son, he signs up for a dating app hoping to find companionship.

Neither Mary nor Clark knew they were messaging each other after the app matched them. Their anonymous messages let them speak more freely than when working together. Can they overcome their first impressions long enough to get to know each other?

There’s Something About Merry is the second book in the Mistletoe Romance series. This book had it all; drama, single father, small-town feel goods, family warmth, romance, a cute dog, and some hilarious craft ideas. I loved the first book and this one is just as good. Be ready with some hot cocoa and a blanket to snuggle in because it is the perfect book to bring on the holiday cheer!

Get in the holiday spirit with this sexy rom-com from the author of Nick and Noel’s Christmas Playlist.

Merry Winters has the holiday blues. She’s spent the last year learning to love herself, and now she’s ready to find the right guy. But the pickings are slim in Mistletoe, Idaho, and it’s just her luck that the man who catches her eye is the stoic new foreman at her family’s Christmas tree farm. Too bad he wants to keep a 39-and-a-half-foot pole between them.

Single dad Clark Griffin isn’t looking for romance, but he wouldn’t mind a friend to snuggle with on a cold winter’s night. When he signs up for online dating, he doesn’t expect to connect with the sassy, crafty Knottygirl25 and get wrapped up in every message she writes.

But when Merry turns out to be his blind internet date, his surprise causes him to miss his chance under the mistletoe. Can a little Christmas magic give these two a second chance at a first impression?
