‘Til Heist Do Us Part by Sara Desai: It has been a year since Simi, Jack and their ragtag crew pulled of the heist of their career, for the most part they have been sitting pretty and enjoying the rewards of their spoils but it would seem that the easy days are over and things are about to get tough again… not only are they all beginning to struggle to pay their bills but the Chicago mafia boss wants his diamond neckless back and with interest… or else! Well the only problem with this being the neckless is now in the possession of Jack’s nemesis, a highly skilled and vengeful thief that has her eyes set on making Jack pay. If Simi, Jack and the gang have any hope of getting the mafia of their backs then they have no choice but to work with Clare and her henchmen… but between trying to avoid the police, work with a new crew and balance her shaky relationship with Jack, it would seem that Simi has her hands more than just a little full…

I really enjoyed reading To Have And To Heist, so I was rather thrilled to see that Desai has once again brought us back to the fast paced, crime and mysterious world of Simi and Jack. While it is not completely needed to read the first book, I would strongly advise doing so to fully understand where this book picks up from. I loved that we get even more drama and action in Til Heist Do Us Part, but we also get some good old romance and suspense thrown into the mix.

I’m still a big fan of Simi, our girl really has been through a lot but in this book we get to see her being a stronger more confident version of herself and I love this. I will say that she still has a lot to work though and overcome but she was kicking butt and taking names. As for our rugged thieving hero, well for the most part I have to say that Jack is still very much a mystery. Granted we do get to know him a bit better this time round but there is still so much about him that he keeps so close to the vest and I think this is largely what caused a disconnect of sorts between him and Simi. Though I do have to give our boy Jack props for being a total charmer and really trying to woo our girl.

The chemistry between Jack and Simi just seems to work for them, while they are not the spiciest couple they do have great chemistry. I have to say I really liked getting to see a more goofy side to Jack in this book as he tried to work for Simi’s affection and to gain her full trust. One thing this couple is definitely not lacking in is the banter! Overall I really liked getting to see their relationship progress and evolve as the book went on.

As alway Desai always delivers some incredible supporting character and this book is no different. We are gifted a whole bunch of new supporting character that feature alongside the crew that we already have come to love. I really liked the addition of Clare’s character, not only was she zingy but I loved the extra layer that she added to the whole Simi and Jack dynamic.

Til Heist Do Us Part is the perfect book for fans of the Oceans Elven movie series, there is drama, mystery, suspense and a really cute second chance love story all woven together into one entertaining novel. Definitely worth checking out!
