Twins for the Neurosurgeon by Louisa Heaton is a perfect example of why I enjoy the medical romances.
During an exchange in France, Samantha loses a patient. The emotion is so heavy that Sam lets herself soak up the comfort the handsome Yanis Baptiste offers. The unforgettable night in Paris comes back to haunt her 3 months later when Sam discovers she’s pregnant with Twins. Fortunate to have Yanis back in her life, even if only as a colleague, they face their individual medical demons from the past while building a solid friendship that has the potential to blossom into love.
I love the fast paced medical stories which are full of action and cleverly weaving through the drama grows love. Louisa Heaton is so clever at delivering this and more. The emotional drama rivals the medical action and I was fully invested in Sam and Yanis’s story. Their individual pasts were the pivotal drive behind each response to the pregnancy journey and I enjoyed how their friendship grew into love.
A beautiful story, an emotional journey and two beautiful baby girl twins had me at hello.
